This manual describes the interface program between the ANSYS analysis package and the FEMVIEW post-processor. The interface is a separate program which reads ANSYS model and result data from the ANSYS '.rst', '.rth' and '.rmg' binary result files and writes it directly to a FEMVIEW database and/or a FEMVIEW neutral ASCII file. Due to the new ANSYS database configuration this interface program is only compatible with result files created with ANSYS versions 5.0 and above. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with FEMGV 4 and ANSYS 5.0 or later.
