Generalised Constraints

Generalised constraints may be used to relate any two parts using the command:

'PROPERTY BOUNDARY GENERAL part1 idof1 part2 [idof2] [real]',

and are extrapolated out to node pairs by the interface. They are expressed on type 13 cards with one card per coupling per DOF. Parameter 'idof2', should not be used and will in any case be ignored by the interface. Parameter 'real' is optional, with a default of 0.0 in FEMGEN which is converted to the BERSAFE default of 1.0 by the interface. The following restrictions apply:

The interface does not check whether a local axis system is active on the same parts as a generalised constraint. It is thus up to the user to ensure that any local axis system definitions do not have any undesired interractions with any generalised constraint definitions.
