Error Messages and Warnings

  Errors

If an error condition is encountered the error messages are as follows :-

`ERR1:Plane IJK has not been defined.
Use  CON SHAP PLA IJK to define IJK directions.'

`ERR2:No body with the IJK definition points has been found.
Check IJK plane only contains points on one body.'

`ERR3:No surfaces have been defined.
Model must be of the wrong type.'

`ERR5:No K defining point found on the body containing the
I and J definitions. Check IJK plane definition.'

`ERR6:No Bodies found.
Check the geometry.'

`ERR8:Not all the bodies found have been connected. Check
that the bodies are stacked as directed in the manual.'

`ERR9:Number of divisions/layer exceeds maximum allowed.
The size of array IDIVMX needs increasing.'

`ERR10:The bodies are not all IJK regular. See the manual
for more details.'

`ERR11:No Mesh exists. Generate a mesh using MESH GENERATE
and then try again.'

`ERR12:The number of nodes per element is not eight.
Check element type is QU8 using LABEL GEO TYPE.'

`ERR13:No bodies have been defined. If the problem is 2D
sweep the surfaces to create bodies.'

`ERR14:The number of bodies found is more than the maximum
allowed. Increase NBODMX in PHOMAIN if necessary.'

' ERR20:Two Bodies connected by 8 points have been found.
This interface cannot resolve this configuration.'

' ERR22:The number of blocks found is more than the maximum
allowed. Increase MAXBLK in PPHOE if necessary.'

' ERR23:Error renumbering the model.

' ERR23:Error resolving Patch definition.
See the Q1 file for details.'

' ERR25: PROPERTY FE PHOENICS must be selected.'

' ERR26:The number of ELEMENTS found is more than the maximum
allowed. Increase MAXELE in PPHOE if necessary.'

' ERR27:The number of NODES found is more than the maximum
allowed. Increase MAXNOD in PPHOE if necessary.*.'

If an error is found the GRID file, called <filename>.anl, will be created but no information will be written to the file.

Warnings

The following warnings may be produced :-

`WAR4:Body has an element type other than HE8. This is not
recognised by PHOENICS. The body will be skipped. '

`WAR7:Body is the wrong type. Phoenics can only cope with
SIX sided bodies. This body will be skipped.'

`WAR15:A boundary condition has been defined on a line or
point. This boundary condition will be ignored.'

`WAR16:A contraint of type GEN or ELASTIC has been found.
This has no meaning and will be ignored.'

`WAR17:A load that is not FORCE, DISP,TEMP or HEAT has been
found.This has no meaning and will be ignored.'

' WAR19:A patch that is not reqular has been found and will
be ignored. See manual for more details'

' WAR21:Incorrrectly defined load. Value identifiers are :-
1-P1 2-U1 3-V1 4-W1 12-P2 22-U2 32-V2 42-W2'

If a warning condition is encountered, the message will be output, and the interface program will continue executing. The GRID file and Q1 file will be created.
