PROPERTY PHYSICAL

This command is used to define or redefine physical properties. In addition to the standard FEMGEN neutral environment physical property commands there are generalised commands to allow FE program specific physical properties to be utilised.

PROPERTY PHYSICAL has the following sub-commands:

2.14.7.1 PROPERTY PHYSICAL BOX - Define a box section.
2.14.7.2 PROPERTY PHYSICAL DEFINE - Used for model archiving
purposes only; do not use.
2.14.7.3 PROPERTY PHYSICAL GENERAL - Define a general beam section.
2.14.7.4 PROPERTY PHYSICAL PIPE - Define a pipe section.
2.14.7.5 PROPERTY PHYSICAL THICKNES - Define element thickness.
2.14.7.6 PROPERTY PHYSICAL TSEC - Define a T-section beam.
2.14.7.7 PROPERTY PHYSICAL USEC - Define a U-section beam.

Additional items may also appear in the PROPERTY PHYSICAL menu depending on the current FE environment (that has been selected with the PROPERTY FE command or by an environment variable); these items allow external files and predefined property names to be referenced. For more details refer to the specific interface manual.
