            which is in the basement of the Murray-Dodge Building.
            We always welcome visitors to our meetings.

Earth Week:

Wednesday April 19 -- "The Lorax" movie shown at night on Alexander Beach.

Thursday April 20 -- The Zero Impact Party at Terrace Club, 10 PM - 2 AM.  The acclaimed drum band Mecca Bodega will perform without the use of electricity.  Organic and vegan food will be served to promote healthy, earth-friendly dining practices.   The food and materials used for the party will be selected for their minimal use of packaging.  Food will be served on recycled napkins, and will be served in bowls and plates and cups that can be washed, rather than thrown away.  Decorations will be recycled from scrap material or products that were to be discarded.

Friday April 21 -- Wilderness Cafe at the Murray-Dodge Cafe.  Enjoy environmentally themed performances of music and poetry, and eat delicious home-baked cookies. 10 PM to 1 AM.

Saturday April 22 -- Earth Day 2000 Fair in Firestone Plaza.  Noon to 4 PM.  Performances by local bands.  Many local NGOs will participate.

Monday April 24 -- The Nature Conservancy speaker.  8 PM in McCosh 28.

Tuesday April 25 -- Donate your Dining Hall Meal to the Nature Conservancy

Wednesday May 3 -- "Global Warming and a  Lack of Policy Direction.  Get Angry, Get Smart, Get Active"
Talk by the Green House Network, a non-profit organization which sponsors a national speakers bureau on global warming and US climate change policy.  David Malchman and Matthew Immergut giving a multi-media presentation at 8 PM in McCosh 28.
