The Ghana School Library Initiative was founded on the observation that although there are already many projects working on improving the living standards of the communities, such projects must be accompanied by educational support to truly raise a community’s welfare, since education, as the communities themselves often believe, are essential to the future of the community members.  As such, the Ghana School Library is seeking to build a library promoting both English and computer literacy, two skills a truly modern worker must possess, in Ashaiman, Ghana.
