Competition at Pace University
We participate in the College Fed Challenge hosted by the US Federal Reserve System. Contact us regarding interest in joining the Princeton team!
The College Fed Challenge is a competition for undergraduate college students intended to encourage young adults to learn more about the financial institutions that influence the national economy. Topics include the US macro economy, the Federal Reserve System and the implementation of monetary policy and financial stability. The College Fed Challenge also aims to inspire young students in economics and finance.
Students who compete in the Fed Challenge are required to work together in a team atmosphere. During the competition, students develop a presentation and answer questions on a recommendation for monetary policy. In order to present on these topics, students must coordinate the research and analysis of current economic data to formulate a plan that will outline potential future economic risks and benefits to justify their monetary policies. Students who have participated in the Fed Challenge competition feel that it is an incredible opportunity for learning and growth.
Students at Princeton University who are studying biology and finance know the similarities between ecosystems and economies. Just as a bank might need a financial overhaul, a living organism may benefit from an oxygen facial for certain ailments. More information on the study of Ecological Economics can be found in the official scholarly journal.
