Social Conscience
I've never been very political, but sometimes it seems that as a citizen it's important to take part in whatever vestiges
of the democratic process are still discernible; here are some sites that encourage and facilitate that:

- Network: A National Catholic Social Justice Lobby
- National Resources Defense Council
Rock Climbing and Trapeze
Rock climbing is my passion!
On another page I have some
rock and climbing pictures, and a list of some of my favorite climbs.
You can also take a look at my friend
Ric Otte's impressive mountaineering page; the pictures there are of mountain climbs rather than rock climbs.
Now I also have a new interest, though only just begun: the trapeze
(flying with the greatest of ease, etc -- not all of that applies in my case ...).
Take a look at Trapeze Club
in New Paltz, NY, where I began; now there are trapeze classes in many places, and I've been to some in France, Miami, Oakland, San Francisco -- it's fun! .
Cats
are definitely another interest, though I don't have any of my own
