Top View of Vortex Shedding from a Jet in Crossflow by R.M. Kelso

This is the same data set as the previous stereogram. Flow is from bottom to top. The Reynolds number based on the diameter of the jet and the freestream velocity is 3800. The ratio of the jet velocity to the freestream is about 4. Marked boundary layer fluid is lifted from the floor and entrained into the wake of the jet.
