The Woodrow Wilson School’s Graduate Consulting Group (GCG) offers pro bono consulting services to domestic and international non-profit organizations and government agencies. The GCG is comprised of Princeton graduate students committed to participating in short-term consulting projects throughout the academic year. Previous projects have included substantive research, project evaluation, writing funding and project proposals, strategic planning, organizational planning/operations, and project design assistance. Projects can be submitted and undertaken on a rolling basis, and the typical project can be finished in a three month time period with a staff of 3-6 students. Previous clients have included City Year, the International Center for Transitional Justice, and the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Sustainability.

GCG allows students to gain practical experience related to their course of study while lending their own personal expertise to consulting projects. Our student consultants have experience that ranges from working in the California legislature to running aid projects in Africa. GCG is composed entirely of students and is managed by two graduate students who serve as co-chairs.
