Why do Organizations Host a GCG Team?
- To recieve critical support in areas that might not be staffed internally. From a specific research project, to program evaluation, GCG can help fill a critical gap that your organization might not have tim to do on its own
- Receive quality assistance on projects requiring specific policy expertise. GCG members typically have 2-5 years of work experienc in various sectors and we try to match students based on experience and interest
- To support the professional development of future public service leaders who are committed to your organization's mission
Organization Eligibility
While all organizations are encouraged to submit a project proposal, the most successful partnerships have been with organizations that are able to:
- Provide a point of contact that can communicate regular with the project team
- Be flexible with student class and exam schedules
- Propose a project that has specific and attainable goals
Project Timelines
Projects typically follow the academic schedule of Princeton University. In the fall, projects typically start at the end of September and in the spring they start in early February. Many times, projects that begin in September span the length of two semesters.
