Digital Map and Geospatial Information Center The digital orthophoto quadrangle (DOQ) data is a black-and-white 1-meter ground resolution image covering an area 3.75 minutes of latitude by 3.75 minutes of longitude, cast on the Universal Transverse Mercator projection on the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83). The data is compressed using a technique devised by the Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG). All the DOQ data that are on this web site can be accessed at our Center. However, if you can not come to our Center you can make a request to the GIS Librarian to put specific data on the web. To check the DOQ data coverage at our Center click on the state name.
