| This working group will focus on strategy
for the Princeton University Campus Greens as well as for the campus green
groups in NJ and nationwide. Another topic of focus will be the maintenance
of the Campus Greens on the Princeton Campus.
Maintenance includes the website, as well
as the mailing lists. And in a more general way, how the whole concept
of working groups works out -- whether there are problems in one of the
groups, how the different groups work together and whether the feedback
from one working group back to the whole group works out. If problems
are detected, the members of the strategy working group will try to find
solutions and in general try to improve the workings of all aspects of
the Campus Greens.
For the strategy part, the working group
will study the different actions, demonstrations, and research efforts
and make recommendations to the whole campus green group about which one
the whole group should emphasize.
Another very important task of this group
will be to define strategies and approaches to the problem of outreach
and member recruitment. In other words how to communicate
the Campus Greens to the rest of the campus on one hand and on the other
hand how to support the creation of new campus green groups on other
campuses or High Schools around Princeton.
And finally there is a NJ-wide network
of Campus Green groups, or progressive groups supportive of the Green
values, as well as a national Campus Greens organization in the works.
The Strategy Working Group will be as supportive of these very important
efforts as possible. |
