1. Need to get from Princeton Junction to campus Saturday and Sunday
nights? Just call 258-RIDE *after the Dinky stops
running* on Saturday and Sunday nights and the P-Rides (late night)
Express will pick you up. This service stops at 2am.
2. Do you want to get around East Campus during the day? Just take the
Blue Line Shuttle! P-Rides has introduced a
shuttle line on the east side of campus primarily aimed at providing
shuttle service for faculty, staff, visitors, and students
from Lot 21. Since this Blue Line stops at all regular East Campus stops
(South Campus, North Campus, and E-Quad) you
can also take advantage of the frequent service to shuttle around these
points. The Blue Line runs on a continuous loop,
offering transportation every 5 to 10 minutes during service hours. The
Blue Line operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.
to 11:00 p.m.
3. New ZIPCAR at Frist! The Frist Campus Center is now one of the
ever-growing number of locations where you can pick
up a Zipcar! The green, two-door Volkswagen Beetle is located on the south
side of Frist, just off of Washington Road. Zipcar
is a simpler alternative to conventional car rentals. See their website
for more information about rates and services and for
instructions about becoming a member at a special discounted Princeton
rate: http://www.zipcar.com/princeton/

Please note that the daytime shuttle is entirely separate from the evening
campus shuttle, run by the Public Safety Department. The evening shuttle,
which begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 1 a.m., will not be affected. The
evening shuttle schedule can be found on Public
Safety's website.

Shuttle FAQ
General feedback on the shuttle, the route, timeliness, etc., and any
suggestions you may have can be directed to here. The shuttle is a trial program and the
route is experimental. We're relying on your feedback to make it work.
A new, daytime campus shuttle, named P-Rides, will debut on Monday,
February 3, 2003. The shuttle will run from 8:15 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. It will serve the four major graduate student
residences (the Graduate College, the Lawrence Apartments, the
Hibben-Magie Apartments, and the Butler Apartments), bringing graduate
students to and from the main campus.
The shuttle, which was created following discussions between the
University administration, the GSG, and the Greater Mercer Transportation
Management Authority (GMTMA) will be a six-month trial program run by the
GMTMA. If it proves successful, the shuttle program will be extended into
2003-2004.
