Brave Men Sail (12’) for large chamber ensemble is made up of sea fanfares, lilting hornpipes and doleful trumpet calls that emerge from an ocean of wave-like accompaniment gestures. The piece was commissioned by the Present Music Ensemble in 2007 to celebrate their 25th Anniversary Season.
