Haskell

• philbib.hs

  Description: Convert from Philosopher's Index "dat" format to BibTeX.
  Instructions: Put "philbib.hs" in your executable path, then do "$ philbib.hs inputfile.dat > outputfile.bib". (Note: only known to work for Unix-style line endings)

• histo.hs

  Description: Simple histogram builder.
  Instructions: Do "$ histo.hs foobar" where "foobar" is a file with one integer (between 0 and 100) per line.

Lisp and Emacs

• gradebook.el

  A major mode for keeping a plain text gradebook.

• histogram.el

  Simple histogram builder.

• prince-calendar.el

  Construct diary entries for important academic calendar events, such as regular lectures.

• env-print.el

  Print envelopes from plain text addresses, or from BBDB entries.

• bibsnarf.el

  Search online bibliography databases: mathscinet, citebase, spires-hep, math-arxiv, Zentralblatt MATH. Results are returned in a summary buffer, and can be stored as BibTeX entries.

• article-express.el (doesn't work after system upgrade 2009; who will update it?)

  Create and submit ArticleExpress requests from BibTeX entries.

• amazon.el

  Emacs client for Amazon E-Commerce Service (search Amazon.com databases for books)
