Engine Fuels

The engine can be run on either liquid or gaseous fuels. Normally, methanol is used as the liquid fuel and natural gas (methane) as the gaseous fuel. These fuels are chosen because of their relatively clean burning characteristics which maintain the transparency of the cylinder walls of the engine.
