University faculty, scientists, and students, not to mention the local industrial researchers at large, have carried out their research and educational activities in the IAC. The IAC supports hundreds of funded research projects annually, as well as major national programs such as the Princeton Center for Complex Materials [Princeton's Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (PCCM), supported by the National Science Foundation], the Mid-InfraRed Technologies for Health and the Environment (MIRTHE) and the US-Africa Materials Institute (USAMI). About 150-refereed papers related to the IAC have been published in the past two years. These papers appeared in professional journals, such as: Nature, Science, Physical Review Letter, Applied Physics Letter, Journal of Applied Physics, Nano Letters, Journal of the Royal Society Interface, Nature Materials, Nanotechnology, Surface Science, Journal of American Chemistry Society, IEEE T Elec. Dev., Journal of Materials Research, Langmuir, Advanced Materials, Journal of Chemical Physics, Microscopy and Microanalysis, Polymer, Chemistry Materials, Journal of American Ceramic Society, etc.
