The IES hosts three Kenen Fellows in 2009-2010.

Kalina Manova visits from Stanford University, where she is Assistant Professor of Economics. Her research has addressed the implications of credit contraints for the pattern and consequences of international trade. She has also studied trade behavior by Chinese firms. Most recently, Kalina has been working on outsourcing in the information technology (IT) industry.

Natalia Ramondo is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Texas at Ausin. Her research focuses largely on the role of multinational corporations in international trade.  She has studied the role of multinational production in diversifying technological risk and has tried to measure the contribution that multinational corporations make to the gains from trade.

Frédéric Robert-Nicoud  is Professor of Economics at the University of Geneva. His research interests include economic geoography, international trade, and political economy.  Frédéric's recent research examines the dynamics of international trade agreements, the effects of offshoring of services on the spatial distribution of manufacturing activities, and the distribution of costs and benefits from the clustering of manufacturing activities.
