Dedebi and Gaumarjos hosted an informational Open House in Woolworth 102, Princeton, with food, live performances, photographs, Georgian costumes (chokha), and a Question/Answer session.
Dec. 11th, 2008 Slavic Dept. Party
Dedebi and Gaumarjos performed at the Princeton Slavic Department party, 7pm, Thursday Dec. 11th at the Maclean House.
Nov. 15th, 2008 Benefit Concert
Dedebi and Gaumarjos performed to much acclaim in a major benefit concert to assist refugees of the Georgian-Russian conflict in August, 2008. We were two of eight ensembles singing Georgian traditional music, the event hosted by the Grace and St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 123 W. 71st St. Manhattan (press release here)
Nov. 13th, 2008 Arch Sing
Dedebi and Gaumarjos performed a short concert under the 1879 Arch for friends and supporters.
