Until 1994, the Princeton University Language Laboratory was located in East Pyne and contained 54 audio listening booths. In 1992-4, 10 video viewing stations, two equipped with laser disk players, and one with a videodisc player, were added. The public computing cluster adjacent to the Language Laboratory contained 8 microcomputers (4 Macintoshes and 4 IBM PS2s), all of which were equipped with software relevant to language learning. In 1994, the facility moved to 100 Jones Hall.
