Jean Baldwin Grossman
Lecturer of Public and International Affairs
Research Associate, Office of Population Research

Jean Grossman teaches at the Woodrow Wilson School and is senior vice president for research at Public/Private Ventures (P/PV), a nonprofit organization that studies policies and programs for the nationís disadvantaged citizens, especially its youth. She is an expert on after-school and youth mentoring programs, as well as evaluation design. She has spent her career evaluating social programs of all kinds -- employment and training, welfare, dropout prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, health, and youth programs --tailoring the evaluation designs to suit the demands of different program situations.
