Jean Baldwin Grossman

Jean Grossman teaches at the
Woodrow Wilson School and is
senior vice president for research at
Public/Private Ventures
(P/PV), a nonprofit organization that studies policies and
programs for the nation’s disadvantaged citizens, especially
its youth. She is an expert on after-school and youth
mentoring programs, as well as evaluation design. She has
spent her career evaluating social programs of all
kinds -- employment and training, welfare, dropout prevention,
teen pregnancy prevention, health, and youth
programs --tailoring the evaluation designs to suit the demands
of different program situations.
