My c.v. with publications list can be accessed here.

See also the Princeton Philosophy Department website.

There is a website (still under construction) for the Princeton Graduate Program in Classical Philosophy.

Some of my recent papers are available for download:

Here is a pdf copy of a paper of mine on "The Emotional Life of the Wise."  It is the final, slightly improved, version of the paper with that title published in The Southern Journal of Philosophy, vol. XLIII, Supplement, pp. 176-218.

Here is a pdf copy of the final version of my paper "Chrysippus on Elements," forthcoming in an OUP volume edited by Ricardo Salles, God and Cosmos in Stoicism

Here is a pdf copy of the final version of my paper "Political Community and the Highest Good," forthcoming in a CUP volume edited by James Lennox and Robert Bolton, Being, Nature, and Life: Essays in Honor of Allan Gotthelf.  It is a significantly revised and expanded version of the paper delivered at the Princeton University Classical Philosophy Conference, December 1, 2007.  It replaces that version.

In 2009-2010 I teach
in the Fall a lecture course, Philosophy 335 (Greek Ethical Theory), and in the Spring a graduate seminar, planned to be on Plato's Theaetetus.

Office hours for students:   I am available most afternoons by appointment; see the Philosophy Department webpage for specific office hours each term.
