From Tang-Soo-Do system as taught by Denis James Transcribed by Evan Greenberg 10/25/97 Gicho Hyung Il Bu ("key" "chi" "chong" - "ill" "boo") Conventions: Double arm block is standard fold for kicking - both arms down and on opposite sides of hips. Fold both arms traditional position (at waist); step out with left foot into horse stance & double midlevel punch. (OR Stepping out into horse stance with left foot, raise hands to midlevel.) Reverse elbow with right hand (leave left out) ending in folded position (fist at waist); same with left (ending with both hands folded at waist) Bring left foot in to right & fold for backfist to left; backfist to left. Fold for backfist to right; backfist to right. Right foot back into front stance & fold for double ear smack (hands near ears and open, arms form straight line across shoulders); double ear smack. Pull into right knee & kiai; continue forward into front stance & high elbow. Step through into front stance & high palmheel. Step through into front stance & high palmheel & kiai. Move left leg to turn into south front stance & double arm block. Front kick into new stance (x2); front kick into new stance & lunge palmheel & kiai. Move left leg to turn into north front stance & high block; reverse punch.
