Reasonable people adapt themselves to the world. Unreasonable people attempt to adapt the world to themselves. All progress, therefore, depends on unreasonable people

Integrated Microsystems Research Lab

Welcome to the Integrated Micro-systems Research Lab. Our research interests are pretty broad. Everything which is integrated, small yet powerful and sophisticated, that pushes the boundary of science and engineering through innovations, often by exploring the spaces between traditionally different fields, interest us. We are interested in technologies that allow us to connect, probe and understand our complex environment. The scale may range from sensing, imaging and communication technologies for large scale infrastructures, autonomous systems, and robots to millimeter and micron scale regime involving detection and manipulation of small bio-molecules, cells and mm-scale robots for diagnostics and drug screening. The approaches that we pursue are pretty multi-disciplinary cutting across integrated electronic and photonic circuits to signal processing (including data-driven methods and AI), energy harvesting, algorithms, electromagnetics and antennas to bio-chemistry, microfluidics and controls.
