POSTDOCTORAL POSITION
A postdoctoral position will be available in my group starting in the fall of 2008 or earlier to work on problems related to cell shape at the interface of physics and biological engineering. Research will employ theoretical, computational, and experimental methods of inquiry to probe the relationships among cell-shape detection, determination, and maintenance. A Ph.D. degree in physics, applied physics, or biophysics is preferred. Previous experience in biology is preferred but not essential. Candidates with both theoretical and experimental backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
