Koleinu is a co-ed a cappella group at Princeton University. We were founded in the mid-1990s by some students who were interested in singing a cappella together and having fun. Koleinu performs a mix of traditional, liturgical, and pop music. We sing in the many arches of Princeton University, at the Center for Jewish Life, and at various other events in the local community. The group is made up of Princeton students with a wide variety of backgrounds, both religiously and musically speaking. We rehearse twice a week in the Koleinu Room in 51 Bloomberg, in the basement of Bloomberg Hall, and we hold auditions at the beginning of both the fall and spring semesters.
