John T. Schroeder Memorial Golf Outing
October 20, 2008
Rock Hill
Golf Club
Manorville Long Island, NY

Greetings Golfers! Please join family and friends of John Schroeder at this year's golf outing. Last year’s outing was a huge success. We have raised over $50,000 the last four years for the John T. Schroeder foundation.

About John:

John Schroeder was one of the nearly three thousand innocent victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. John was born and raised in Commack, Long Island. John was an exceptional student athlete and excelled at lacrosse at St. Anthony's High School and Princeton University, where his lacrosse team won the NCAA Division I Championship in 1992.

After college John worked on the floor of the American Stock Exchange until August 2001 when he took a new job with Fred Alger Investment Management in the South Tower of the World Trade Center a month before the terrorist attacks.

John was 31 when he died, and the golf outing is a way for family and friends to remember and celebrate the life of someone we had the privilege to know and love.

I hope to see everyone on October 3rd. Please call or e-mail me if you have any questions or suggestions. We need volunteers to donate time or gifts for the raffle. Please forward this message to anyone who you think would be interested in participating.

Thanks for your support,

Chris Trombetta
