Committee meeting, 10/903 9pm

I. Discussion with Patty Smith (Housing Operations)
a) We talked about the community room furniture: the possibility of refurbishing the room in a more versatile way, e.g. ping-pong table, TV, rug and shelves.
There will be less community space in the new Lawrence Apts. than expected, and the planned space will not be available for a while.
b) New address for Lawrence Apts for utilities billing purposes.

II. Discussion après Patty
10/18 group trip to Terhune Orchards to get to know each other and the area
          pumpkin buying there, to be followed by carving back at Lawrence in the courtyard?

10/25 Fall Festival at Butler
Activities for adults and kids
Volunteers needed for various projects

10/31 trick-or-treating, 5-7 pm
the issue is whether to invite Butler residents and Karin Court residents to participate or neither
Beth is preparing paper pumpkins to put on the resident's door for people to display if they want to participate.
We opted not to hold our annual Halloween party, because of the proximity of the Fall Festival.

Our next meeting is on 11/6 at 9pm at which time we will decide on what kind of event to hold in November and discuss more about a possible wine and cheese in December.

We briefly discussed Radhika's version of a constitution and everyone should read it and offer her feedback as necessary.
