Committee meeting, 02/24/04 9:10-10:35pm.

1) Election
-Elections will be held before the housing draw. Housing draw is due 3/22 and (e-mail)-elections will be from March 10th throughout March 14th. Candidates may be nominated until 03/07.
-Every Lawrence Apartments resident over 18 years has the right to vote. There are seven positions: The president, the vice president, the treasurer and the secretary, a social chair, and a webmaster and common spaces coordinator. Preference (perks) will be only given to four chairs, these are chosen by seniority.

2) Constitution
-The revised constitution will be posted online.

3) Miscellaneous
-Housing policy meeting 02/27 at 1pm, MacMillan building.
-GSG meeting monthly, every 2nd Wednesday at 6pm.
-New Lawrence Apartments:
 concerns about loss of space
 concerns, that rent prices are increasing faster than stipends do
 More questions:
 Is it possible for a Lawrence High Rise resident to move e.g. to Butler or Hibben/Magie
 Will there be a computer cluster during renovation?
-Party is planned at the end of March to introduce new members of the Committee
-Next meeting will be 03/24 at 8:30pm.
