1. New Lawrence facts & problems
- 30 apartments are vacant at the moment
- more shopping carts will be bought and four more vacuum cleaners will be added
- Two chairs (big blue leather chairs that stand in the hallway) were stolen (Building 10)
- There are problems with the garbage truck (blocking cars, garbage collection schedule too early)
- The TV from the old Lawrence community room will be moved to the new community room soon
- There are rumours about buying a ping pong table and/or a football table for the Lawrence Community
- The community room should not be used as a practising room since it is not soundproof - on campus are practising rooms in the Musicology Dept.

2. Events
- There will be a Fall Festival at Butler Apts. (10/30) Lawrence Committee did not decide yet whether to co-sponsor it or not
- Indian food dinner party: Wednesday, 11/11/04 in the New Lawrence Community room at 6pm
- Trick or Treat: Pumpkin-shaped paper will be in the Community Room for the residents who are willing to open their doors for trick and treating. (Date and meeting time will be announced)

3. Expenses
- The piano will be tuned ($41)
- Toys will be bought (One wagon and two riding toys): $100-200

4. More complaints
- Thermostats in the New Lawrence do not work properly
- USPS does not deliver packages to the door, leaves them in the hallway
- mail delivery problems as a result of the new address
