Lawrence Committee meeting
1. Concerns:
- windows of the New
Lawrence buildings should be cleaned
- cockroaches are in
building 10 - a notice should be posted to inform residents about pest control
(258-8000)

Smith regarding window cleaning, cockroach problem and general info about the
move to the High Rise
2. Generalia
- Two community associates
(graduate students) are assigned to organize events, help solving problems
etc.) Possible events proposed by us would be TV nights, ice cream socials,
bbq, donut breakfast and s'mores on the grill, carpooling for grocery shopping
- We have to spend $756 by the end of June -
we will spend it for Cinco de Mayo, cable TV and a photo contest
- Cable TV: will be set up
soon, we will try to let Patriot Media bill the L.C. University account or pay
the whole sum for one year ahead.
- Shuttle stop will be moved
to Building 2 before/by September
- The superintendent has
asked for a drinking fountain to be installed
- Storage units are
available now in Building 12 for one-room apts.
3. Events
- Cinco de Mayo event on
Thursday: BBQ next to building 10
- Photo contest: We want to
decorate the walls of the Community Lounge and ask people to submit pictures
from Princeton

for things not sold
- Welcome event planned in
September for newcomers
- No committee meeting
planned until September
