We had two residents with
us,
We discussed
....
- the
garden: It needs new hoses and new tools. We decided to charge each person who
wants a garden plot $10. The money will be used exclusively to buy stuff for
the garden.
- the
budget: Currently we have $700 in our account. We would like to plan two more
events, but we have to keep in mind that each month the amount of $15 is
deducted from our account for the cable TV.
- We decided against
installing cable TV in the High Rise building for various reasons (installment
would not be easy if at all possible and it would weigh on our b! udget).
People could watch DVDs in the High Rise. Instead, we put up a sign-up sheet so
people can plan on using the TV room
- To make our president's
life easier,

- Bike racks should be
removed not only in front of the bedroom windows, but also in front of living
room windows. This is an issue regarding New Lawrence and has to be addressed
to Housing.
- Construction site close
to New Lawrence: Early morning constru ction noise - Housing has been trying to
put off construction noise until the 20th (?), after that, noisy hammering
construction should only start after
- Elections. In future
years, elections should take place in the fall.
- Buzzer system in Low
Rise Old Lawrence has not been fixed for a long time. It is going to be a major
maintenance request in the next year. In the meantime, at least the names of
the residents should be updated.
If you have anything to
add to the minutes, I would appreciate it. There were so many things we discussed, I have the impression that I forgot some details.
