Minutes from Meeting April 9, 2006

Old Issues

- TV room signup sheets are in place and are being used

- no furniture yet in high rise TV room (as of 4/9)

Construction

- not to start before 8AM, will extend to Saturdays

- schedule and map updates sent to Lawrence Committee webmaster for

posting on website (see Mark Bianchi or Bill Bausmith)

- road paving and landscaping into May, bopefully done before

finals/generals time in May, clubhouse construction and fence

installation over summer

- concerned about long term noise from access road, noise from 100-ft

poles and cables, noise from golf course clubhouse

- why isn't Springdale Road being used for access

- look into noise-blacking walls behind lawrenceif necessary

- communication from housing/construction office on this project has

been very poor, far worse than communication during the New Lawrence

construction

Wine And Cheese Event

- April 20, 7PM, Bldng 14

Jonathan - bring wine from prior event, plus additional

Jenn and Julia - cheese, crackers, fruits, meats

Pat - cups, soft drinks, juices

Tamas - publicity emails and flyers

New Committee Members

- Tamas as new webmaster, should receive instruction from Jonathan at or

before next meeting

- Katie as new treasurer, should receive instruction from Manu at or

before next meeting (if generals permit)

Next Meeting

- the second sunday of May is the 14th. more discussion needed to

confirm this date.
