Welcome to the new website of the Center for French Studies at Princeton University .

Many people have felt for a longtime that the substantial Francophile community at the University and in the Princeton area should be brought together. The website will help us do this. We have exciting events this fall which will be posted on the website.

The website will list all the Center's programs and activities, both academic and those that concern the community. It will also list all lectures, visits to the campus by French personalities, conferences, seminars, etc. This fall alone we will host, among other personalities, French Professor, Gilles Kepel, top Adviser to President Jacques Chirac, Blandine Kriegel, and French actor and director, Daniel Mesguisch. L'Atelier will also start proposing a community French theater workshop under the direction of Florent Masse.

I welcome all suggestions for new activities and for improving our website.
