Mission
LGSA aims to promote the academic, social, and professional well-being of Latino/Hispanic graduate students at Princeton. LGSA strives to render visible issues that are relevant to the Hispanic/Latino community at large. As America's largest and most diverse minority group, Latinos have faced varied and complex obstacles in their efforts to achieve educational excellence. Social circumstances have often inhibited Latino interest in both undergraduate and particularly graduate programs. The members of LGSA aspire to implement a multi-dimensional program of support for students at all levels of the academy. LGSA will provide a space for graduate students to establish community by offering opportunities for dialogue, exchange, and support at Princeton.

This Google calendar holds details for all events hosted by LGSA or its affiliates and friends since Spring 2008. Some previous events are also in the calendar, but with incomplete descriptions. However, that information is fully available in the Past events (Fall 2007) page.
