Research interests:

I am currently a student in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department at Princeton University working with Profs. Simon Levin and Lars Hedin. I am primarily interested in the landscape ecology of savannas. I will be working on temporal and spatial variability as drivers of non-equilibrium vegetation dynamics in tropical savannas.

I recently completed a Masters' degree in Botany at the University of Cape Town. I worked with Prof. William Bond and Dr. Edmund February on variability in Acacia recruitment with relation to climate and disturbance from herbivory and fire.
