Salman Ahmed

Former Visiting Research Scholar
Salman Ahmed is currently Senior Policy Advisor to the US Mission to the UN. He was formerly the Chief of Office and Special Assistant in the Office of the UN Undersecretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, and served as Special Assistant to the UN Secretary-General’s Special Adviser on Iraq. While at Princeton, he had a joint appointment as Visiting Research Scholar with LISD and the Woodrow Wilson School.
Ahmed holds an M.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a B.Sc. in Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
