Dusan Sidjanski

Special Adviser to the President of the European Commission
Dusan Sidjanski is founder and Professor Emeritus of the Department
of Political Science at the University of Geneva and Professor
Emeritus at the European Institute. From 1956, he worked closely
with the late Denis de Rougemont in his capacity as researcher
and author at the European Cultural Centre. While head of the department
and leader of the research team, he developed close links with
many universities the world over, particularly the Universities
of Michigan, Harvard, Princeton, Paris, the College of Europe,
and Florence. He has been the author of numerous publications,
most recently, “The
ECE in the Age of Change” (United Nations Economic Commission
for Europe, United Nations), 1999. He is currently the President
of the European Centre for Culture in Geneva, Switzerland, and
Special Adviser to the President of the European Commission.
