Thomas Wright
Former Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel
Princeton University
Thomas Wright retired from Princeton University in 2004, after more than 32 years of service to the institution. A Princeton alumnus of the class of 1962, Thomas Wright served as the first in-house legal counsel, secretary and vice-president to Princeton. He was the advisor to three Princeton presidents and was known for being the person they naturally turned to when trouble was brewing or thorny problems needed carefully crafted solutions. At each stage of his career, Wright strived for a campus that is inclusive - to every student, including women when they began to arrive in the early 1970s and under-represented minorities.
