Authors Meeting: Perspectives on State and Security in Afghanistan

LISD convened a meeting of the contributing authors to the forthcoming edited volume Perspectives on State and Security in Afghanistan, in Vienna, Austria on December 9-12, 2004.  At the private meeting, authors discussed their planned contributions to the book and exchanged ideas about conceptual and practical dimensions of state and security building in Afghanistan.  This meeting was funded in part by the Carnegie Corporation of New York.  The book will be the second volume in the WWS-LISD Study Series.
