Subject: Tufted Duck update
Tufted Duck , Point Pleasant, March 7-8
The female Tufted Duck at Old Sam's Pond, south of Manasquan Inlet in Point Pleasant, was reported on both Tuesday 3/7 and Wednesday 3/8. No report was received for Thursday 3/9. (Martin Mick, Al Pochek, Karl & Judy Lukens, Sandra Keller).
In other reports, a Northern Shrike was at the north end of Whitebridge Road in the Great Swamp NWR on March 7. Also there, Rusty Blackbirds, Woodcock, Snipe, Red-headed Woodpecker. (Gunnel Wallstrom). No update on any of the Barrow's Goldeneyes.
