Ross's Goose, Woodstown, 3/25

A Ross's Goose was located today by Fred Tetlow on Woodstown-Auburn Rd., west of Woodstown, Salem Co., NJ today in a flock of Snow Geese. The flock also contained a "small race" Canada Goose, substantially smaller than the Snow Geese. Fred also found a female Yellow-headed Blackbird, not far away on the Old King's Highway near Featherbed Lane (north of Richman's Ice Cream) in a flock of several thousand mixed blackbirds. Ross's Goose and small Canada Goose races are reviewable in NJ and details are requested by the NJBRC.
