Subject: Cave Swallow(s) in Cape May

This evening, Sunday, Jim Dowdell located one or more Cave Swallows in with a large concentration (several hundred) of feeding swallows over Cape May Point State Park (best seen from the early part of the "red trail"). I quickly went over and saw one Cave. All the usual swallow species were well represented, including some 30+ Cliffs. Today's weather was sunny and mild but with northwest winds, which might have concentrated the birds in the point area. Tomorrow is supposed to be fair with southwest winds, with evening rain, so we will see if the birds remain in the area or move on.
