No luck trying for the Yellow-nosed Albatross around Hereford Inlet/Nummy's late in the day, BUT while we were there the bird was being refound from 6:30 to 7:00 PM sitting in the water just off Roosevelt Ave., which is the first street south of Norbury's Landing, which is in Del Haven, which is immediately north of the Villas. This is a mile or two south of the southernmost place the bird was seen earlier in the day. Sounds like a pre-dawn visit there might be worth a try, and if that doesn't work, probably try back north in the areas mentioned earlier (e.g., Pierce's Point north to Reed's Beach, particularly around Kimbles Beach). Remember to spend as much time looking in the sky over the marshes and woods as you do along the shore and in the water!!
