I understand from Paul Guris that the record number of 5 Bridled Terns on the Saturday 9/2 trip from Brielle didn't stay a record very long. On Sunday 9/3, the FONT trip from Cape May recorded a mind-boggling 23 Bridled Terns!! A trip from Lewes DE the same day also recorded 15 Bridled Terns, according to Andy Ednie.

Buff-breasted Sandpipers and Golden Plovers continued at Johnson's Sod Farm in Cumberland Co., and at Herbert Rd. near Assunpink and at Brigantine NWR, up to yesterday 9/4. I received too many reports to quote individually but have forwarded all to the NJ hotline for use in today's update. Thanks to the many people who took the time to contact me.
