Updates on yesterday's crane and golden plover reports:

Jim Merritt just called to say that he, John Danzenbaker and Sheryl Forte saw all five cranes early this morning, 18 September, exactly as directed in Adrian Binns' message yesterday. The birds were near the horse farm on Harmony Road, just west of Seeley Rd. (DeLorme NJ Atlas page Page 61, grid M26). They also checked the Johnson Sod farm, and saw nothing there at all.

Mike Fahay wrote to say he will be checking for the plover at Sandy Hook later today and I will post an update if it is relocated.
