Sedge Wren and other birds at Brigantine (Forsythe):

Seen this morning, 1 October, at Forsythe NWR:

1. 1 Sedge Wren on Eco Trail at first bench.
2. 1 Hudsonian Godwit, SE Corner, East Pool.
3. 1 Avocet, NE Corner, East Pool.
4. 3 Female Ring-necked Ducks, at exit pool.

Melinda Varian reports that the cranes were seen this morning about 9:30 at the Walters/Seely Rd. intersection, but flew off when a tractor arrived to plow the field.
