NJBirds:

News of the following additional rarities in southern NJ came to light this evening at the World Series of Birding "Swap Meet" held in Goshen:

White-faced Ibis: A SECOND bird in NJ was discovered today, this one at Bivalve, Cumberland County. It was seen in a sizeable flock of 60+ Glossies along High Street just south of Bivalve, along the right side of the road just before a boardwalk and new pedestrian bridge being built. This bird, like the Reed's Beach bird, has a red eye, pinkish-red facial skin, and red knees, but it lacks most/all of the white around the face, thus is probably a one-year old. The two birds were also seen simultaneaously today in the early afternoon.

Ross's Goose: One was reported to still be present this past week in the Mannington Marsh/Featherbed Lane area, Salem County, in a flock of 30-40 Snows.

Sandhill Crane: A few sightings of birds in flight in the Salem County area were probably associated with the Cumberland/Salem resident population of uncertain origin.

Ruff: two birds (a male and a female) were seen the past couple days at Mannington Marsh.

gulls: several Lesser Black-backeds and single Glaucous and Icelands were still at Florence earlier this week
