OK, make that THREE Curlew Sandpipers at Thompson's Beach. Two brick-red birds side-by-side on Saturday, plus the slightly orangier-red bird of previous days. Also, there have now been a couple sightings close to the parking lot, either just slightly down along the closed road or on a mudflat to the right of the lot, plus the sightings farther down the closed road.
Also, the adult White-faced Ibis at Bivalve, Cumberland County, was seen on Friday for the first time since being found originally--along High Street near an impoundment. And the adult White-faced at Brigantine NWR was also seen again on Friday (at the nw corner of the West Pool).
There was a fly-by Roseate Tern in Cape May today.
